The Petroleum Connection is pleased to announce a new feature to the 8thAnnual Frac Sand Supply & Logistics Conference. The Roundtable Discussions have been a good addition to the agenda, enabling conference attendees to go a little deeper into topics with subject experts, but we have found the brevity of the Roundtable sessions are a little limiting in some cases.
As a result, we have added Pre-Conference Seminars! The Pre-Conference Seminars will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in meeting rooms at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort. Seminars will last 90 minutes and are free for conference registrants to attend. Six simultaneous seminars will run from 9:30-11am , six different seminars will run from 1pm-2:30pm, and the final set of unique seminars will run from 3:30pm-5pm. Refreshments will be provided in a shared refreshment station, allowing attendees to network with other conference attendees during breaks and between seminars. While the pre-conference seminars will be free to attend (for those registered for the conference), attendees will need to sign up and the limited number of seats will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The eighteen seminar topics will be announced as they are confirmed. Golf and Gold Sponsors from the conference will be the invited to suggest and present Pre-Conference Seminar topics which they believe will be of interest to conference attendees. We expect the presentation formats to vary widely, from video presentations to software training to panel discussions to informal Q&A sessions to highly technical presentations. The small class sizes should allow for in depth discussions and plenty of audience engagement. We are optimistic this will be a great addition to the conference agenda and will become a highlight of the conference moving forward.
