Case Study: Pontotoc Sands
Pontotoc Sands Co. is a supplier of Tier 1 frac sands. Their El Reno, Oklahoma, operation needed an 8,000 square foot storage building to allow them to supply sand to nearby fracking operations. By partnering with Legacy, Pontotoc Sands had a completed building up and running in less than two months.
Pontotoc Sands first contacted Legacy in late December 2016. Legacy and Pontotoc partnered to design an 8,000 square foot Legacy Eco building with cast-in-place concrete walls, and the contract was signed in mid-January. Drawings were completed and approved within six days of signing the contract.
Legacy manufactures all components in-house. The building and an installation crew arrived onsite February 7, and the building was constructed in one week. Seven weeks passed from initial contact to building completion. “We had clear expectations, and the process was very simplistic,” said Josh Lehde, owner at Pontotoc Sands. “I like these fabric structures – they are cost-effective to put up, you can put them just about anywhere and you can move them to a new location as our hotspots change.”
